Stay tuned for my next post tomorrow and for my upcoming channel! I'm pretty excited for this summer, and a big reason is that I knew that not being a full time student would allow me to spend much more time blogging and sharing the things I am passionate about with my readers (and future "viewers"-eek!). I'm also going to start a YouTube channel within the next couple weeks (hopefully). Right now I am planning to do 3 posts a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and maybe a few extras here and there. In brighter news, I am going to start scheduling blog posts. I've said this before, but I would never just up and leave for however long and not give an explanation. I just want to say thanks for sticking around if you're reading this right now. I needed a couple days to get myself together and now here I am today. Then shortly after I had to move out (which was incredibly tedious), then I attended graduation and just got home a few days ago. Class work all of a sudden got really hard and I was constantly working on school, then finals week happened and it had been almost 3 weeks since I had made a blog post. I thought I would explain where I have been and what the schedule is going to look like from here on out before I got back into the full swing of things. Hey guys! How are ya? So, It's been a while-I know. I wanted to show you this because I have struggled for the past year to find something that would fit my MSF collection perfectly, and it came to me in a completely random way. Below is a picture of my cheek drawer (in the Alex 9 unit from Ikea). Now that we have cleared that up, I want to tell you how I store mine. I got the LAST ONE they had, which apparently sparked an unhealthy obsession with limited edition skinfinishes-and 5 years later I have collected 9 of them. That summer was when the Semi-Precious collection was released (do y'all remember that?) and on my wishlist was the Mineralize Skinfinish in Rose Quartz. I had just started getting into makeup and was ecstatic to be getting my first few MAC items. Let's start out with a little background info to get started, we have a lot to cover~īack in summer 2010, my parents took me to a MAC counter in Nordstrom and let me loose for my 15th birthday. Swatches, individual reviews, how I store them, and a back story of how I became obsessed are all to be included. EnJoy! Make sure to watch Part 2 - this video only covers the MATTE Hot Pots.Hey guys! How are ya doing today? As promised, I'm back into the blogging routine-and today I'm sharing with you my MAC MSF collection. I did a swatch comparison after filming, and much to my own surprise, most of the colors are identical to my MAC ones. With today's economy, who's NOT on a budget? You'll find that some of the colors are so identical to MAC, hmm surprising. I think these hot pots are ideal for aspiring MUAs building their kits on a budget. I'm sure many will start doing haul and swatch videos in due time. Instead of doing a swatch video, I decided to do a color comparison of the new Hot Pot single eyeshadows from Coastal Scents, finding the closest comparable to a MAC color.
